Shark Week In Progress On Discovery Network

sharkAug 3, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Discovery Channel is back with its program Shark Week which is liked by the shark enthusiasts. The programs of this year are really interesting and they also reveal a lot of information on the lifestyle and nature of the ferocious marine creatures. The 23rd season of the show starts with a program named Ultimate Air Jaws. The programs shows the predatory techniques of the great white sharks off the coast of South Africa where they pounce on the seals. The popularity of the Air Jaws series of the network remains the same it was a few years back. The series will be of special interest to the viewers because this time the scenes have been shot in HD which offers breathtaking visual quality. A lot of scenes have been shot in slow motion.

The network used a helicopter and submarine to capture the footages of sharks attacking t and killing their prey. The other episodes to be shown in Shark Week are no less interesting. The shark attack survival techniques are rather captivating. The show will air interviews of the survivors of shark attacks. The series also focuses on the life cycled of sharks and spreads awareness about the problems plaguing the shark species these days.

The sharks do not always attack the humans for food as the program shows. In some instances the sharks mistake people as other prey and attack them. The footages shown in the program are highly engrossing as well as informative. The HD footages enable the network to air super slow motion footages that were simply impossible to capture on video camera previously.
