Sharathkumar’s Daughter Varalaxmi To Debut In A Tamil Film

June 9, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Varalaxmi Sharat Kumar, daughter of the legendary Tamil superstar Sharat Kumar, is making her acting debut in a Tamil film titled Poda Podi.
Directed by Vignesh Shiva, the film will be produced by Gemini and Padam Kumar. The Tamil actor Silambarasan is starring opposite Varalaxmi.
According to a source close to the film, the shooting will take place in London and few places in and around Europe. The songs of the film will be shot in Vegas and Arizona.
The film will be a romantic comedy, which will present Varalaxmi as a salsa dancer, a well versed dancer in real life. She is also a trained ballet dancer. The budding actress feels that Poda Podi is a perfect film for her debut.
Varalaxmi has the responsibility of taking her father’s acting dynasty forward. We wish her all the best for her debut film!
