Aug 4, (THAINDIAN NEWS) “Shaq Vs” season 2 episode 1 was premiered last night on ABC and it was liked and appreciated by its viewers for its innovative plot and interesting presentation. The show received a wide number of viewers who remained glued to their screen watching their favorite show on television. The show which was aired night saw the host of the show Shaquille O’Neal challenging a veteran NASCAR driver and also a National spelling bee champion.

Shaquille O’Neal is an American basketball player and in “Shaq Vs” the player challenges various top athletes of different fields. However, in the second season the channel and the producers have changed the format a little. In this season Shaquille O’Neal will not only challenge the athletes, but also challenge non sports competitors like a spelling bee champion, dancer, magician, singer etc. Last night’s episode of “Shaq Vs” saw the player challenging NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. on a competition at Concord Speedway. However, in the end, Shaquille O’Neal lost the competition. Dale Earnhardt Jr. in one of his interviews said that he was very “appreciative” to Shaquille O’Neal for the opportunity to be on the show. He also mentioned that NASCAR is still a powerful and prominent attraction.

The show became all the more interesting when Shaquille O’Neal challenged National spelling bee Kavya Shivashankar in a spell off. The veteran player here too lost the competition but then game was worth watching and the audience loved the show. However, the viewers are waiting eagerly for the next episode to air where Shaquille O’Neal will face Shane Mosley in a exhibition boxing match in Las Vegas. The host will also challenge magicians Penn and Teller and the audience is expecting to see who wins at last.
