Los Angeles, Sep 28 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The messy and the controversial star Britney Spears’ former assistant Shannon Funk is also playing a part in the custody battle between Britney and her ex-husband Kevin Federline’s children.

She has been served with a subpoena in the infamous custody case between Britney and Kevin. The reason behind this is assumed to be Kevin’s greed, and the chance that he might be able to prove that Britney is a madcap and hence he should be allowed the full custody of their children plus, he might be able to wrangle out a hefty sum from Britney as well.

On top of this, Shannon Funk is in other Hollywood news as well. It is rumored that Jamie Kennedy has been cheating on his girl friend Jennifer Love Hewitt with his ex-girl friend Shannon Funk.

It may be recalled that in 2007, Shannon Funk and Britney were said to have a lesbian romp. Though Shannon denies the news, but she does admit to have feelings for Britney. “I love that girl,” she told OK! Magazine “I will do what I can to protect her.”

“They seemed really in touch with each other, like they knew what each other wanted,” a stylist who worked with the singer told OK! Magazine.

Funk, worked with Britney for just three weeks, before being fired shortly after Britney’s disastrous shoot with OK! Magazine.
