Mumbai, India, Mar 21, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The musical reality show “Amul Music Ka Maha Muqqabla” reached its conclusion last night when the grand finale was held in the BPCL ground in Chembur, Mumbai. The gala event which was aired live on Star Plus witnessed Shankar Mahadevan and his team “Shankar’s Rockstars” grab the top honor by winning the popular musical reality show.

In order to emerge victorious in the musical competition, Shankar Mahadevan’s team, which comprised of Sanjeev Kumar, Rahul Vaidya, Sharib Sabri and Neetii Muhan, had to beat singer Shaan’s team named “Shaan’s Strikers,” who turned out to be the runner up. Although the musical reality show had been successful in entertaining the viewers throughout its journey of thirteen weeks, the grand finale showcased all the necessary entertaining elements that audiences had expected to witness. Especially those viewers who had supported Shankar Mahadevan were surely in for a huge treat as the Rockstars were declared the winner, which enabled them to take home the prize money of 50 lakh. Despite the fact that all the fans of Shaan’s team were left a bit disappointed as his team failed to win the top honor, they had something to look forward to as the runner up team were also conferred a cash prize of 25 lakh.

Overall, the grand finale of the musical reality show, with its scintillating musical performances, was surely successful in fulfilling the expectations of the viewers who had been regularly tracking the show. Apart from Shankar Mahadevan and Shaan, other renowned musical artists who participated in the competition included Shreya Ghoshal, Mika, Mohit Chauhan and Himesh Reshammiya.
