Shania Twain says that she didn’t hurt herself during CMT Fall
June 9th, 2011 - 8:39 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattNashville, June 9 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Shania Twain has assured that she didn’t hurt herself when she fell during the 2011 Country Music Television awards. The singer was going towards the stage when she stumbled.
From her initial reaction, it was assumed that she was in some kind of pain but she has assured that she was not hurt. She was going on the stage to present the Male Video of the Year award which was won by Blake Shelton. Twain laughed at herself after the show posting a video on her website.
In the video, Twain who was laughing all through said she was not injured in the incident. She revealed that she just had “bit of a sore stomach.” Twain seemed to have gotten a souvenir from the fall because she said she was going to auction off the particular shoe that she was wearing when she fell.
Her words were “I never want to see those shoes again. Or maybe I should keep them as a souvenir?”
The CMT awards 2011 came off on Wednesday with Taylor Swift picking the most coveted award of the night. She won the Video of the Year award with the video of her track “Mine.”
