Los Angeles, May 4 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Shania Twain has released a new memoir about her life. The book which is titled “From This Moment On” talks about the country music singer’s past. The memoir talks about her failed marriage and events that surrounded their decision to end the marriage.

The 45-year-old was on Oprah Winfrey. She spoke about how she confronted the other woman who came to her husband’s life and how she urged her to go and love someone else. She recalled an instance where she sent a letter to the other woman and asked her “Why are you torturing me?” The singer said she begged the person to leave her husband admitting that what she did was ‘pathetic.’

Shania revealed in her memoir that her childhood abuse had effects on her life. She named her stepfather as the person who abused her. The incident, according to Shania, affected her confidence. The book talked about her struggle as a child while she lived in poverty.

Shania is getting ready to start her show. The show will premiere on Oprah’s OWN on Sunday. OWN is partly owned by Oprah Winfrey and she is stepping down from her highly successful show “Oprah Winfrey” to concentrate on the network.
