Shania Twain was separated from her husband two years before and her divorce from music producer Robert “Mutt” Lange has been finalized this week.

The singer Shania Twain and Robert “Mutt” Lange called their marriage quits in 2008 when his affair with Shania Twain’s former assistant and friend, Marie-Anne Thiebaud was exposed.

After legally finalizing the divorce the singer is happy it seems. The couple ended their relationship after 14 years of their marriage life.

Shania Twain is legally single now and source reports that she was “happy” with the news.

According to the magazines it is reported that Shania Twain is currently dating Frederic Thiebaud, the ex husband of Marie-Anne Thiebaud. Shania Twain is now is preparing for a new TV series “Why Not? With Shania Twain” for the Oprah Winfrey Network.

Shania Twain was recently seen with Frederic Thiebaud at Swiss Red Cross Ball on May 29 as per reports. They both looked comfortable with each other and Shania Twain was “radiantly happy” as the report says. She was a guest judge in “American Idol”. Shania Twain and Robert “Mutt” Lange has a son of 8 years named Eja D’Angelo.

As per reports in an interview Shania Twain said that she wanted to disappear after the split as that was a bad slump. Now, with the divorce finalized this week she is going to get a new lease of her life.

Reportedly, her personal relationship with Frederic Thiebud are getting serious and she has said that Frederic Thiebaud was a constant companion of support both for her and her son.

Both Shania Twain and Frederic Thiebaud had gone through the same extreme circumstance of separation.
