Singer Shania Twain brought in the New Year in a very special way. She got married to Frederic Thiebaud, who is also the ex husband of her best friend, with whom her own ex husband was accused of having an affair. Robert John Mutt Lange and Marie-Anne Thiebaud were exposed of cheating on their respective spouses; Shania Twain and Frederic Thiebaud found love and comfort in each other’s company and eventually tied the knot on the 1st of January.

As less as forty guests made it to the wedding,held on the beaches of Puerto Rico. Reports suggest that only close family members and friends were spotted at the very private wedding ceremony. Nevertheless, two wedding photographs are now available to the media through Shania Twain’s personal website. The photos show the 45 year old singer dressed in a white wedding gown purchased from an unknown boutique in the city of Lausanne in Switzerland. The accessories were the signature brands of Lorraine Schwartz for jewelry matched with white shoes from Calvin Klein. Needless to say, Shania Twain looked lovely with the sunset view at the Puerto Rico beach in the backdrop.

Frederic Thiebaud chose a black shirt and white suit as his wedding outfit. Shania Twain and Frederic Thiebaud looked very comfortable in each other’s company. The couple exchanged vows with the ‘All You Need Is Love’ classic track of The Beatles playing in the background. Interestingly, it was Shania Twain’s son Eja who escorted his mother down the aisle as she walked towards a new life.
