London, Apr 21 (ANI): Shakira is set to perform at this year’s Glastonbury Festival alongside a line-up of big stars including U2, Stevie Wonder, Muse and Snoop Dogg.
The Colombian sensation will present her gig on the Pyramid stage on Saturday June 26 at the festival in Somerset.
The festival is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year.
‘Glastonbury is famous for being one of the best festival crowds, so I’m sure I’ll have a great time,” the Telegraph quoted her as saying.
‘Shakira is not only an amazing pop star but also socially and politically forward thinking; she’s working incredibly hard for good causes around the world,” added organiser Emily Eavis.
‘We feel honoured to have the ‘She Wolf’ herself come to Worthy Farm,” she said. (ANI)
