Oct 14 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The results episode of ‘Dancing with the Stars‘, the celebrity dance show that airs on ABC, kicked off 0n the 13th of October. The musical guest on the show was Shakira, and in signature style, she wowed the participants and audience alike with her sizzling performance. If anything matched up to her sex appeal, it was the awesome performance by a shirtless Derek Hough.

Shakira moved and grooved on the stage surrounded by a bunch of geishas beating drums. The effect, though pleasant, was quite unnecessary, considering that the popstar’s moves alone are well capable of setting any stage on fire. Although, one has to admit, her rendition of the anthem-like ‘hips don’t lie’ did look somewhat overdone and jaded. Her ‘Did It Again’ more than made up for it, though. Somewhat disappointing her numerous fans, Shakira did not perform her latest hit single, ‘She Wolf’. Judging by their reactions, viewers definitely felt that the show came to an end too soon.

The couple to get eliminated this week was Chuck Liddel and Anna Trebunaska. The episode kicked off with Derek Hough and partner model Joanna Krupa. The dance did a lot to steam up the show even more after the performance by Shakira, eliciting from judge Carrie Ann Inaba the comment, “All I can say is I hope the children were in bed.”

The cutest part of the show that definitely increases it’s viewership manifold is when the kids come to visit their parents on the show. Next week, there will be some more sizzling performances from the participants, along with some more eliminations.
