Shakira and Gerard Pique seen holding hands

The Columbian singer sang the theme song of last summer’s FIFA World Cup in South Africa. In the ‘Waka Waka’ video, Pique was one of the people that made appearance. Rumors surfaced that the two were having a relationship. The rumor was immediately quashed by Shakira who was then having a relationship with Antonio de la Rua who is the son of the former Argentinean president, Fernando de la Rua.
34-year-old Shakira announced last month that the 11-year relationship between her and Antonio has come to an end opening another rumor that it was because of Pique. The Barcelona defender is ten years younger than the singer but that doesn’t seem to matter to the two.
Pictures have emerged on the Internet of the two holding their hands as they walk through the streets of Spain. The two were entering a restaurant in the country’s Catalonian region when the pictures were taken. This is the first time that the two have been pictured together holding hands.
The two were reportedly offered $500,000 by paparazzi for a picture of the them kissing.
