Shaheen Jafargholi Enthralls Audience At Michael Jackson Memorial

Shaheen JafargholiAT the Staples Center, Los Angeles various celebrities had gathered to pay their respect to the late King of Pop Michael Jackson but one little 12 year old garnered quite a significant share of the audience’s applause. This 12 year old was Shaheen Jafargholi, who had appeared in the famous TV program ‘Britain’s Got Talent’. Shaheen sang ‘Who’s Lovin’ You’ by the Jackson 5 and Staple Center reverberated with his melodious rendition. It is known that Michael Jackson had seen this young boy’s performance on ‘Youtube’ and even had plans of performing together.

Shaheen is of Welsh origin and was visibly excited about his performance at the Staples Center in the King of Pop’s memorial service. He went onto say, “I’m blessed to have been at the memorial” and “It’s something I’ll remember for the rest of my life.” In fact Shaheen had sang the same song on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ and this song had ensured that he reaches the finals of the show.
It would really have been a wonderful experience had Shaheen been able to perform with Michael but his musical tribute at the Staples Center did surely enthrall the audience there. Even the television audience worldwide who were watching the memorial service telecast were moved by this young talent.

The memorial service saw the gathering of thousands of fans and celebrities like Brooke Shields, Mariah Carey, Smokey Robinson, Martin Luther King III and others but Shaheen’s performance touched a special chord; might be due to the fact that Michael also started his career as a young talent with the group Jackson 5.
