October 21, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Shafi made his dream debut in the Telugu blockbuster ‘Khadgam’, where he played the role of Prakash Raj’s brother.  The critics loved his mature performance in the movie and praised him. Later, Shafi came back with a negative role in ‘Chatrapati’ where he wowed the audience with his skills.

Despite the lack of good projects, Shafi once again impressed the viewers with his portrayal of Siddhu in the Maheshbabu starrer ‘Khaleja’. Shafi’s performance as Siddhu, highlighted Maheshbabu’s image and gave him a boost throughout the movie.  It is good to know that Shafi’s acting skills have not gone unnoticed as the entire unit was full of praises for this actor.

Maheshbabu told us that the entire script was ingrained into Shafi’s memory and his role in the movie really augmented the hero’s image in the film. The articulations and gestures made by Shafi have become very famous with the audience as well. Trivikram, the director of ‘Khaleja’ was right in casting Shafi for Siddhu’s character as the actor did justice to his role in the flick. The Telugu film industry is a highly competitive place but we are sure Shafi will be able to make a place for himself with his superb acting skills.
