April 12, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): The sort of feedback the most recent trailer of the film, Sex and the City 2, has created, strengthens the fact that it is indeed one of the most anticipated films of 2010. The sequel of the exceedingly triumphant 2008 film, Sex and the City, will be releasing in May.

The film’s full-length trailer, which was released a few days back, has already been observed by in excess of 300000 spectators. Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon and Kim Cattrall will be reprising their characters along with Chris Noth, who plays Mr. Big. Apart from these, Evan Handler will be returning as Harry Goldenblatt, John Corbett as Aiden Shaw and David Eigenberg will play Steve Brady once more. Willie Garson will return as Stanford Blatch and Mario Cantone will again play Anthony Marentino, making the original cast almost complete.

Michael Patrick King will be writing and directing again, while Patricia Field will once again take charge of the costumes.

The biggest revelation in the latest trailer has been John Corbett, who has returned in the role of Aidan Shaw, to whom Carrie (Parker) was engaged in series 4 of the television series. The latest trailer shows both of them meeting accidentally at a street market in Abu Dhabi, with Aidan gushing: “This is the best mirage I’ve ever had.”

Tickets for the opening night of the film sold out within hours of their availability in April suggesting a high demand.
