The stars of the film Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Scott, Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker made the fans go berserk outside the Radio City Music Hall. The film is going to be released on Thursday in the USA. However, the initial reviews are not much encouraging. The follow-up to the first movie that was released two years back is expected to do good business at the box office though. However, the scenes shot with the 4 stars of the movie in the places in Abu Dhabi are not up to the mark according to some critics.

The critics are of the opinion that the scathing depiction of the Muslim society in Sex and The City 2 is going to ruffle the feathers of the conservative viewers. The film is special in the sense it has elements of feminism and blatant anti Muslim sentiments. The producers of the film faced trouble earlier as the UAE officials were not giving them the permission to shoot the film. Michael Patrick King, the director and writer of the film admitted that shooting a film with the focus on four sexually liberated US women were too much for the sentiments of the people in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

That was the reason the director had to re create the scenes to be shot in Abu Dhabi in Morocco and it is not clear if the Abu Dhabi officials will give the permission to show the film there.
