Arlington, Nov 4 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Everybody’s favorite muppets show, Sesame Street debuted on 10th November 40 years ago. And its 40th landmark birthday is also being celebrated in style with the likes of Google and even the First Lady Michelle Obama giving a hand.
Google changed its logo to accommodate Big Bird’s feet. And Michelle Obama is kick-starting the 40th season in style.
First Lady Michelle Obama appears in the first episode of Sesame Street’s 40th season and teaches “the street’s” residents about the numerous advantages of having a garden and eating healthy as part of the series’ ongoing “Healthy Habits for Life” initiative.
In the show, she is surrounded by children and is preparing to plant tomato, cucumber and lettuce seeds, Mrs. Obama explains, “All these seeds need to grow are sun, soil and water. If you eat these healthy foods, you’re going to grow up to be big and strong, like me. I know you’re going to like these vegetables, because in addition to being healthy, they really taste great!”
