I was raised in Utah, born in 1966, live in Seattle now. Utah was so white back then. Along comes this wonderful program Sesame Street. All kinds of people living on a street with Big Bird and Cookie Monster (My favorite). People of all colors working together teaching us life skills about respect, reading, being different and it all being OK.
Thank you Alaina for giving us that gift in such a formidable time in my life. And to her husband after losing my wife to bc in 2004, my best wishes and hopes to you and your family.
