Los Angeles, Feb 15 (THAINDIAN NEWS) CBS has confirmed that its reporter Serene Branson didn’t suffer stroke on air.

Many viewers were left worried and wondering whether Serene had suffered a stroke after the reporter jumbled some words while reporting on the Grammy segment. She started by saying “Well a very, very” before she jumbled the remainder of the words as well.

CBS later released a statement that assured that Serene did not suffer a stroke. The release also said Serene is feeling fine after the incident. Her vital signs were checked and everything seemed fine. The network though opted for a colleague to drive her home as a precaution.

The statement said that, “Serene Branson was examined by paramedics on scene immediately after her broadcast. Her vital signs were normal. She was not hospitalized. As a precautionary measure, a colleague gave her a ride home and she says that she is feeling fine this morning.”

The video of the incident has gone spiral on the Internet. Following the release of the video on the Internet, a Twitter page called Serene Branson has popped up. The page dismisses the claim that she suffered a stroke explaining that “it was just nerves.”

It is not clear if the Twitter page is the official page of the reporter.
