Selvaraghavan throws a bold challenge
January 19th, 2010 - 7:14 pm ICT by Sampurn WireFor past few days, it’s realms of Aayirathil Oruvan everywhere. The film had kept everyone brimmed with more expectations and literally dashed down hopes due to inappropriately bold contents.
Filmmaker Selvaraghavan and entire crewmembers of AO were present for a media interaction session hosted by producer R. Ravendran. Selva lost his patience when a journalists questioned him whether this film was a polished version of Hollywood adventure-thriller Timeline. Apparently, he replied, “Please get me the DVD. If it completely resembles my film, I will definitely quit showbiz.”
Later, when asked about not the complicated ancient Tamil dialogues, he said, “It would be a disgrace to subtitle our own ancient Tamil and so I dropped down that idea.”
