Selvaraghavan Denies Rumors On Rana’s Project

June 23, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Soon after the runaway success of “Aayirathil Oruvan’ and its Telugu version “Yuganiki Okadu’, Selvaraghavan was offered to make a bilingual film with Rana of “Leader’ fame, donning the lead character. Indeed, the producers of this film had offered Selvaraghavan a whooping sum of Rs. 2Crores as an advance.

Off late, there were rumors that this project has been shelved due to a difference of opinion between Selvaraghavan and the producers. But the filmmaker has denied it and states that they’ll be making the official announcement shortly.

The film is reported to be an unusual story is set in 50 B.C. Selvaraghavan is busy working on the script and research. Meanwhile, Raana has signed Gowtham Menon’s bilingual film that recently had its photo shoot here at AVM Studios in Chennai.

Raana mentioned on Twitter that the project with Selvaraghavan will take off shortly and they’re into finalizing the cast now.
