Oct 24, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Kanye West’s highly anticipated short film “Runaway” premiered at Landmark Sunshine Cinema on Thursday. The film not only wooed the audience but also it gave the “Victoria’s Secret Angel” Selita Ebanks a platform to show her talent and acting prowess. Kanye West played the role of The Griffin and Selita Ebanks shined in her role as The Phoenix. After the movie debuted on BET, MTV and VH1 yesterday, Selita Ebanks in her exclusive interview spoke about the short film, Kanye West and her first on-screen kiss.

Selita Ebanks in her tete-e-tete with the reporters said that according to her, the moral of the video is that the world does not accept or even does not try to change something that is “different”. However, she feels that the world should try and understand the whole thing instead of criticizing it. While speaking about her first on-screen kiss she said that it was “nothing spicy” but a bit “awkward” for both of them. She recalled her experience saying that she was actually “giggling” inside at that time and was trying hard to stay in her character of ‘The Phoenix’.

Selita Ebanks called her first on-screen kiss as “craziness” and said that the whole short film is Kanye West’s vision and his brainchild. She also added that working with Kanye West was easy as he was professional and he knew “exactly” what he wanted in the music video of “Runaway”. While speaking about Kanye West she said that the last few years of “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy” singer have been tough but like a phoenix he could manage to come out of his own ashes.
