‘Self-critical’ Radcliffe refuses to watch old Harry Potter flicks
July 13th, 2009 - 4:50 pm ICT by ANI ( Leave a comment )Washington, July 13 (ANI): Daniel Radcliffe has said that he does not wish to watch his previous Harry Potter films because he is too self-critical.
“I think all actors are (self-critical). I’ve been told the moment you think you’re good, you’re not, so I think it’s better to be on the self-critical side,” Contactmusic quoted him as saying.
Radcliffe, 19, has played the boy wizard for the last eight years but hasn’t seen his debut in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone since it first came out, when he was 11.
While watching a clip of the film he said: “I haven’t seen the first movie since it came out in 2001. (I see) that little frog - that’s me. It’s weird seeing myself…”
Radcliffe’s new film ‘Harry Potter and Half-Blood Prince’ is scheduled to release on 15 July. (ANI)
