Selena Gomez ‘hurt’ by Justin Bieber’s fans’ bitter comments
March 16th, 2011 - 5:30 pm ICT by ANILondon, Mar 16 (ANI): Selena Gomez has revealed that she feels hurt when Justin Bieber’s fans rant about her online.
The singer/actress has been linked to the ‘Baby’ hitmaker since 2010 and gossip about a romance between the teen stars went into overdrive when they were photographed enjoyed a New Year’s break in the Caribbean together.
Gomez often finds herself the target of scathing remarks from Bieber’s jealous fans, and she can’t help but feel bad when she reads their nasty words online.
“It’s hard. It hurts, it really does. I don’t feel like I’m doing anything wrong. I’ve been best friends with him for a very long time. It does hurt my feelings a lot but I try not to focus on it. I have a strong family and great fans,” the Daily Star quoted her as saying in a TV interview.
Meanwhile, the 18-year-old admitted she can understand why Bieber’s loyal followers don’t like her, adding, “I have to agree with them sometimes. I loved Jesse McCartney. I was obsessed with him. He dated Katie Cassidy when he was 16 or 17. I hated her, absolutely hated her. I was mortified that he was with Katie and I wanted to be with him. He was my screen-saver! I just did a movie (Monte Carlo) with Katie Cassidy and she was the nicest person ever.” (ANI)
