Wichita, Dec 4 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Taylor Swift who swept all the recent music awards is in very high demand if the sale of her concerts are anything to go by. Besides being sold on the normal counters i.e. the box office windows, they were also an online hit on the websites, which were selling the tickets.

The tickets were priced at $61.50, $51.50 and $27.
In the region of Wichita, the concert was a sell-out with in 15 minutes of the counter opening. The sale of tickets started at Intrust Bank Arena, and within 15 minutes, officials announced that the Taylor Swift concert is totally sold out. The twelve box office windows at the arena had opened at 10 a.m.
Some fans like Marvin Osman were disappointed that the tickets sold out so quickly. He was at the ticket window when concert tickets sold out. “They went quickly, and I knew they would,” he said.
However Sunny Schmidt was lucky, as she got the first six tickets for her 8-year-old daughter Riley and friends.
There was a lottery system also and Deb Shirkey, the holder of raffle ticket No. 140, was the first in line. She was lucky and happy that she got the tickets. She was trying to get tickets for her 14- and 19-year-old daughters. “I’m excited,” Shirkey said. “I tried to get tickets online yesterday and couldn’t.”
