Orlando, Jan 21 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Thousands of idol hopefuls lined up in Orlando Florida to audition for American Idol. Contestant Theo was first up to wow the judges, wearing a feathered headdress and cape he did not impress the judges at all. Kara critiqued his voice as being to overpowering and Theo walked away in tears.

A father raising a son who has been diagnosed with Autism was hoping his audition would get him that golden ticket to Hollywood. Twenty eight year old Seth Rollins sang “Someone to watch over me”, impressed the judges with his smooth voice and got his golden ticket.

A young girl, who has never had much control over the left side of her face due to a birth defect, proved she had control over her voice. Shelby received four yes’s from the panel of judges and gave her the ticket she dreamed of. She is on her way to Hollywood!

Things became a bit uneasy on the set in Orlando on day two, when an angry young man decided to stir up some excitement. Not winning the judges over Jarred was not taking no for an answer, security was called to help escort the young man out. After wrestling with security we was hand cuffed and escorted off the premises.

The last idol hopeful was hoping to right his wrongs. Matt was arrested when he was 15 years old for robbing a bank with a Beebe gun; he spent four years in jail. He was hoping this audition would help him feel like he was finally heading for something he was destined for. A powerful rendition of “Saved by a Women” had all four judges smiling and saying yes to Matt.

Thirty-one hopefuls from Orlando have tickets to Hollywood.
