Aug 31 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Lindsay Lohan and Orlando Bloom, along with four other celebrities made court appearances in late June which testified to the anxiety and fear they had experienced along with the loss of property when the “Bling Ring” of six thieves had broken into their homes and stolen from them.

The testimonies, which were sealed until recently, offers the most detailed account as of yet of the personal toll which these break-ins caused the stars, according to the ‘Associated Press’. The young people who performed these crimes were so desperate to have the property of these celebrities that they cut through fences and crawled through pet doors.

Lohan expressed the fear that such an intrusion can cause, “That night I went back to the house, I just felt, to be honest, so violated and uncomfortable that I literally packed as much stuff as I could,” Lohan said to the jurors, “because it wasn’t about the things that were taken, it was just the fact that someone came into the only private space that I have in my life at this point.”

Along with Bloom and Lohan, Rachel Bilson, Audrina Patridge, Brian Austin Green, and Paris Hilton all testified and helped to indict the alleged perpetrators. One of the members of the ring of thieves which committed these crimes between October of 2008 and August of 2009 plead guilty in a plea bargain, and served time. The other five “Bling Ring” members face trial later in the year.
