onliDec 13, (THAINDIAN NEWS) After a long wait, the grand finale of the CBS reality series “Amazing Race” was finally aired on the network last night and as expected the last episode of the current segment was able to seize as many eye-balls as possible. The viewers who had tuned in to watch the finale episode were in for an added treat as for the very first time in the history of the hit reality show an all-female team was able to emerge victorious by being the first one to cross the finishing line.

In the finale that was aired last night, 31-year-old Nat Strand, who is a resident of Scottsdale, Arizona and Kat Chang, 35 from Santa Monica, in California became the first team to touch the finish line at Greystone Mansion which enabled them to taste victory. While the doctor duo registered the first slot, the second position was bagged by another female pair San Diego, California resident Brook Roberts and her partner Claire Champlin, who are best friends as well as hosts of a home shopping network. 27-year-old Jill Haney and Thomas Wolfard, reserved the third position.

While responding to her victory after the episode was aired, an ecstatic Kat Chang later told media outlets that it still feels unreal that they were able to win the reality series. However, one of the most difficult part for the 35-year-old was keeping their win a secret until the finale was aired on CBS network. Meanwhile, her partner Nat Strand told reporters that although she had seen the previous seasons, nothing could have prepared her for the challenge that they had to face as contestants.
