Sean Hayes June 14 (THAINDIAN NEWS) During a press call last week, Sean Hayes, who was to be the host of the Tony Awards hinted that he may ‘make a nod’ in reference of a ‘Newsweek’ article which stated that he was not very convincing as a straight guy in the Broadway show entitled, “Promises, Promises.” Well, last night at the Tony Awards, he used Kristin Chenoweth to do far more than nod!

Hayes found an amusing, yet classy comeback for the snide remark made by Newsweek while opening for the Tony Awards. As his costar from the Broadway Show, ‘Promises, Promises’, Kristin Chenoweth came out onto the stage to wish him ‘good luck’, he turned to her, and kissed her quickly. The two then froze staring into each others eyes, and proceeded to embrace as he laid a long, tongue filled open mouth kiss on the actress.

As he let her go, he laughed an told the audience, “I know what you’re thinking,” he said. “She’s too short for me.” Viewers fell into laughter. Watch the kiss in the video embedded below.
