The coveted award on the night was the ultimate scream award. It was given to the franchise-ending movie “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2.”
Scream is a special awards ceremony dedicated to the horror, fantasy and science fiction categories of the media work. They include presentation in books, movies and television shows.
Another high profile award which was given on the night was the most anticipated award. The honor was given to the yet-to-be released sci-fi movie “The Dark Knight Rises.” When the winner of the award was announced, three of the stars involved in the project - Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Gary Oldman – received the honor on behalf of the others.
The event on Saturday night was the sixth in the history of the awards. The Harry Potter franchise featured prominently in the awards over the years and receiving an honor for the last installment of the franchise is remarkable.
“Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2″ enjoyed massive Box Office revenue worldwide when it crossed the $1 billion mark just few months after the release of the movie.
