‘Scott Pilgrim Vs The World’ Draws Fans

_1281567980Aug 14, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Considering the hype received by ‘Scott Pilgrim vs The World’ and the reviews at the Comic-Con, the film has been one of the biggest attractions of the month. With stars such as Anna Kendrick and Mary Elizabeth Winstead in the line-up the male audience sure were looking forward to a double treat in the film. Based on a comic book, the film combined the comic book action with the realistic screenplay that gave the film a nerdy yet cutting edge look.

In a recent interview the two stars of the film, Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Ellen Wong revealed that they were thrilled to play the role of women who were so strong and equal to the men. Mary Elizabeth Winstead who plays the role of Ramona in the film said that it was a completely surreal feeling to see the fans dressed as her character at the Comic-Con. Ellen Wong also said that the best part about the film where she plays the role of Knives Chow, is that it shows that there is a superhero within everyone.

The story of ‘Scott Pilgrim vs The World’ deals with a boy and girl who fall in love and have to fight the evil exes. There is a great deal of supernatural powers that the exes possess the story follows the struggle of the couple as they face off with one ex after another. The film stars Michael Cera in the lead and is directed by Edgar Wright. It is based on the comic book series by Bryan Lee O’Malley called ‘Scott Pilgrim’. The film was released on August 13 and has received mixed reviews so far.
