Melinda Gates agreed to travel around the globe with the correspondent and show where the billions were going. Though the couple is known to be not to keen about their humanitarian efforts and charity work, ‘60 Minutes Overtime’ showcased the remarkable changes that the Gates family has been bringing about in the most neglected areas of the world. One of the places visited by Scott Pelley and Melinda Gates is a poor country side in Uttar Pradesh, India. She said that superstition has also caused the people to shun medicines which makes it all the more difficult for the people to come out of their situation.
