Scarlett Johansson loses out at Hugh Jackman shirt’s auction
December 23rd, 2011 - 12:10 am ICT by Aishwarya BhattNew York, Dec 22 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Scarlett Johansson’s bid to own the T-shirt of Hugh Jackman was not successful. The shirt went on sale during a special auction to raise money for charity.
Scarlett and another Hollywood star Uma Thurman were among those who attended the auction. The event was held on Tuesday at New York. The Lost In Translation actress was outbid when the shirt was eventually sold for $30,000 which is ten times the amount that the actress offered.
The 27-year-old actress recently made some personal revelations about herself. In an interview which was reported by Contact Music, Scarlett said she always uses makeup even when not on set because she believes in maintaining her looks.
“I always like to put a little bit of make-up on. I’m not the kind of person that just slops around in sweatpants. I like to feel a little more together you never know who you’re going to see out there!”
Among the routine that she goes through, Scarlett said she often uses honey on her face in the bid to keep her skin looking good. She made that revelation during an interview with the fashion website style.com.
