Scarlett Johansson defends her nude pictures

New York, Nov 2 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The trial of the alleged ringleader behind the group which leaked private photos of several celebrities has started. Christopher Chaney of Jacksonville, Fla. has been handed 26 charges.

Christopher pleaded not guilty to all the charges when he made his first court appearance. If he is convicted, Christopher could spend a total of 121 years in jail for the charges which includes unauthorized access to a computer. It is estimated that Christopher hacked the accounts of about 50 people most of them celebrities

The judge scheduled the next hearing to the 27th of December. Christopher was granted a bail of $110,000. The prosecution team pleaded with the judge to keep Christopher in custody but the request was denied. To ensure that he does not abscond, Christopher has been fitted with an electronic tag to track his movements.

Scarlett was one of the celebrities whose private photos ended up on the Internet when they were illegally accessed by hackers. Speaking about the incident, Scarlett revealed that the nude pictures were meant for her former husband Ryan Reynolds. She believes her reputation wouldn’t be soiled by the released images.

She explained that, “There’s nothing wrong with that. It’s not like I was shooting a porno.”
