Scarlett Johansson and Sean Penn make their relationship “official” at Reese Witherspoon’s wedding
March 29th, 2011 - 9:16 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, Mar 29 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Scarlett Johansson is not legally divorced from her husband Ryan Reynolds but that has not stopped her from going public holding hands with Sean Penn.
The two were seen together at the wedding of Reese Witherspoon. Witherspoon and Johansson’s agent, Jim Toth got married in a ceremony held at Witherspoon’s ranch in California last weekend. Penn and Johansson were seen holding hands and that has sparked rumors of a relationship between them.
A source told Popeater.com that Penn’s appearance at the wedding was surprising to the newly wed. The source was quoted as saying that, “Scarlett is Jim’s client, but no one, including the bride, knew she would have turned up with Sean Penn… Turning up at a wedding with your boyfriend is definitely a huge statement, especially that wedding. What it’s doing is announcing to the whole of Hollywood that they are serious.”
Johansson and Reynolds announced their split at the end of last year. The pair has remained separated and no divorce has been filed. Since the split, Penn and Johansson have been seen together for several other times.
