May 13, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Matt Lauer, the well known host of the famous television talk show ‘The Today Show,’ has reportedly been caught cheating on his wife of many years, with none other than Meredith Vieira. Apparently, his wife had been suspecting for quite some now that her husband might be seeing another woman behind her back. In fact, she had not been the only one to have been getting the hint. It seems that the viewers of ‘The Today Show’ had also been suspecting the same thing, possibly taking the hint from the obvious chemistry between the two. However, it cannot be said for certain, as of now, whether anyone had really been in the loop or not.

However, reports seem juicy enough to start a fresh television controversy, and a pretty gossipy one at that, for hardly anything can be more intriguing than an affair between two hosts of the same network. Reports state that the two had been pretty close for a very long time now, and that the closeness had been quite obvious on the sets of the show itself. In fact, once, as reports state, at the end of a certain show, Meredith Vieira had mouthed an ‘I love you,’ before changing it quickly to a ‘We love you.’

Further reports state that Matt Lauer no longer stays with his wife after the reports of him cheating on his wife surfaced. This would not be the first time, however, considering that they had split back in 2006, when the couple were expecting their third child, only to reconcile. At present, none of the three people involved in the scandal has spoken anything out loud about it.
