Tennessee, July 4, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Saturday Night Live episode featuring “Charlie’s Angels” star Drew Barrymore and Regina Spektor as the musical guest for the evening was re-run on July 3. Regina Spektor has created waves in the past with her albums bagging the top slots of Billboard and receiving a warm applause from people over the world. The 30 year old singer, song writer and pianist was seen rocking the stage at the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in the month of June this year.

Regina Spektor though is still basking in the glory gained from the Tennessee platform. The singer herself stresses on the fact that this year’s tour in the month of June had been one of the happiest in her entire career. When asked about what made her so happy, the singer promptly answers that the people involved in the tour were very nice, but more than the people it was her new-found energy level and the zeal to perform which had been driving her from the very beginning of the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival.

There is hardly any doubt about the fact that Regina Spektor has had a very successful career with her album “Begin to Hope” crossing the one million mark sale and the next album “Far” reaching the number three position on Billboard. After coming to New York from Russia at the age of only nine, Regina Spektor has made a quite a name for herself in the US music industry. The world is now eagerly waiting for “Sleeping Beauty”, on which the 30 year old Russian is still working and which she plans to unveil in the 2011-2012 Broadway season.
