“Saturday Night Live” Mocks Fox News Coverage

satFeb 8, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The latest episode of the popular late-night television sketch comedy show ‘Saturday Night Live’ managed to grab much attention as it mocked the Fox News channel’s news coverage. The episode witnessed the show which is known for its hilarious sketch comedy, poke fun at the news channel’s coverage of the United States military’s “Don’t ask, don’t tell” (DADT) policy.

The latest segment of the popular late night show turned out to be an immensely entertaining experience for all the regular viewers of the series as it showcased spoofs on Glenn Beck, Greta Van Susteren, Karl Rove, Robert Gibbs, Oliver North, and also a Fox correspondent who is referred to as Attractive Blonde Lady. The sketch was created based on a panel of discussion led by Greta Van Susteren, which is played to perfection by Kristen Wiig. The rest of the cast is seen joining the panel discussing about the “Don’t ask, don’t tell” (DADT) policy, which prohibits gay, lesbian and bisexuals individuals from taking part in the United States military. At the same time, ‘Glenn Beck’ is seen taking up his position at the chalk board. The latest segment of the much acclaimed variety show with its hilarious spoof and impressive performances by the cast members surely managed to keep the audiences glued to the television screens.

The latest episode of “Saturday Night Live” is part of its thirty-fifth season. The present season of the variety series started airing from the month of September last year and has been able to fulfill the expectations of its regular viewers.
