Saturday Night Live mocks Fox News Coverage Saturday

Los Angeles, Feb 8 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Saturday Night Live made fun of the Fox News Coverage. It poked fun at the Fox news channel’s coverage of the United States military’s “Don’t ask, don’t tell” (DADT) policy. During the skit on Fox news, Karl Rove was asked his views on ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’. He said that “Don’t ask, don’t tell allows members of our military to be gay, but not too gay. So we get the Wills from Will & Grace, but not the Jacks.” Oliver North said “The Neil Patrick Harrises but not the Elton Johns.”
Van Susteren said that “Is America under attack? Let’s go to our expert on the subject, Glenn Beck.” It was a brilliant spoof on Fox News, and the audience was roaring with laughter.
The host of the Saturday Night Live was Ashton Kutcher and he set the ball rolling with his funny monologue. He also revealed his plans for the upcoming Valentine’s Day. He said that he simply hates Valentine Day. And this is because he thinks that every day ought to be romantic, instead of just 1 day in a year. He is married to Demi Moore, and he says that he simply dislikes the concept of just one day, to tell the person whom you love, of how much they mean to you. He thinks that this ought to be done on a more frequent level, rather than on just a single day in a year.

At least FOX looks for news and has the gonads to disagree with the White House. Other news shows are afaraid that they will not be invited back so they are still kissing the White Houses butt. Katie Couric makes me sick with her version of the news. I do not watch her.

PRO, you obbviously are a young, uneducated sheep of a college student doing whatever the “crowd” seems to be doing at the moment. You’re the one who doesn’t know what a true journalist is. Sure, FOX may have a bit of a right-wing bias, but that’s still FAR less than the left-wing bias that nearly every other news network has. CNN and CBS are still calling the bailout successful, even AFTER it’s been proven that it was anything but. And they’re also still on about global warming, even though new research suggests that the planet is actually COOLING. Obama’s approval ratings are dipping…and the only reason they haven’t fallen more is because morons like you don’t listen to facts even when they’re staring you in the face.

Jenna? Is that Jenna Bush? Anyhow Fox is not news any more than any other channel. They all have their ’side’ they support and Fox is just so far to the right that they are wrong. If you actually watched enough Fox you would notice that. It is when you watch TOO MUCH Fox like yourself that you are blinded by reality. I rarely see SNL any more. Just doesn’t have the same effect as the original cast but they hit this skit perfectly. Now all they need is to get Kramer and a few others portrayed to make Fox perfectly ridiculous … ok just watch the real Fox and you will already know what ridiculous is…

All I am seeing is idiots yelling only one direction and it is coming from both sides. If anyone thinks that FOX is real news then I say kudos to FOX for saying what people want to hear. I listen to all the channels just to make sure I hear everything. Many FOX news watchers have tunnel vision. I can always tell a FOX news and Rush Limbaugh listeners. The skit was funny and that’s all there is too.

I just shake my head because all of these forums just show the degree of madness in this country.The corps create a demand and the people demand and the the corps create something that meets this demand.You are being controlled while you bicker among each other . You are being sold crap on both side , especially the rep. side who wants us to go back to the good old days . What good old days . Where a man worked 38 or 40 hours a week and brought home enough to own a house and put a new generation of kids through college.But yet women were not paid fairly or minorities rights considered .Those days had great things in them but awful things as well .
And you who think that Obama {who is now seeing what washington is about or has always known I don’t know }is the cause of our problems .. Well you are in for a big surprise . Its not Obama or even Bush , its the well oiled machine that you and I continue to support by taking sides and having good ole fights trying to up one another . While we are busy fighting , the corps take another dollar and make 5 and feed us all exactly what they want us to think freedom is or what success is . They sell it to us and they sell it especially to our children . They dumb down our schools and they make heroes out of everyday idiots and we lap it up like the good dogs we are .. Considering SNL is all about the left most of the time, it’s no surprise that they make fun of FOX news. SNL was merciless against G.W. and did everything in their power to make fun of McCain and Palin. They made fun of Hilary but not Obama, and in the year since, Obama has gotten pretty much a free pass from them. “SNL, that spares no one”, give me a break.

You behave in a way that offends us or frightens us we kill you.We now have in our posession and have had for many years the ability to destroy every living thing on the planet.Yeah,that will turn out well!The only reason we arent all dead right now is that the two main powers who held most of this weaponry didnt want their own people to be killed off, didnt care about anyone else mind you.But now we are about to experience what it is like for a people who believes that killing ones self and enyone else nearby is well worth it if you kill the people who dont believe what they believe.
