Los Angeles, Feb 8 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The funny and the humorous show – SNL, that spares no one, poked fun at the news channels this time around. Saturday Night Live made ample fun of the Fox News Coverage. It poked fun at the Fox news channel’s coverage of the United States military’s “Don’t ask, don’t tell” (DADT) policy. The DADT policy is already under a lot of fire from many areas, and there are reports that it might be changed soon.
During the skit on Fox news, Karl Rove was asked his views on ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’. He said that “Don’t ask, don’t tell allows members of our military to be gay, but not too gay. So we get the Wills from Will & Grace, but not the Jacks.” Oliver North said “The Neil Patrick Harrises but not the Elton Johns.”
Van Susteren said that “Is America under attack? Let’s go to our expert on the subject, Glenn Beck.” It was a brilliant spoof on Fox News, and the audience was roaring with laughter.
The host of the Saturday Night Live was Ashton Kutcher, and he set the ball rolling for the humorous show with his funny monologue. The 31-year-old ‘Valentine’s Day’ star said that when he saw his present wife Demi Moore, then he knew immediately that she was the one, made for him. He has been married to Demi Moore for 4 years, and he says that good manners are very essential in a relationship, and he learned early in life, how he ought to behave with the women folk, and treat them with respect.

I don’t see why “SNL” and NBC have to be so ignorant of what is going on with our country. I guess they don’t know that its The Bureaucracy of the president is why we haven’t won the war. Our military has the capabilities to win the war, they’re just being restrained by the people back here who don’t know how to fight a war, and never have. Let the generals who have been trained get us out of this war, and bring our troops home.

It’s just Vietnam all over again!

Shredinatr56 is what you say is true then we should have won the war during President Bush’s time in office. We have been at war in Afghanistan since 2001 and in Iraq since 2003. Are you saying that this bureaucracy was going on when Bush was fighting the war? American children are dying so that people like you can spout out slogan about patriatism. We need to stop the B.S. and bring our soldiers home.

Oh my gosh,do you believe this.SNL is right on top of current events, the former Soviet Union left without victory, maybe we will also.Brush up on what your talking about, you’re as funny as Fox news!

Im sorry the war is real, and it is going on… and on. HOWEVER Fox News IS very biased/right winged… but most importantly WRONG!! Picking out bits and pieces of the most negative information and making a story of it. They’re not reporting both sides of anything. How will they ever give the audience the truth?

Wow shredintar56, are you living in an alternate reality? “the bureacracy of the pres…blahblah. Its only been 1 year for Obama and how the hell long has the wars been going on? and who got us in the pointless Iraq war? If we had the capabilities to win(besides leveling the places with nukes which am sure is your brillant thought) we would have. Our country is being eaten from the inside out (like Chinas “unrestricted warfare”) and is not the superpower anymore, all thanks to the retared monkey that is G.W.B. Obama has been doing a hell of a job trying to fix our broken country.

Considering SNL is all about the left most of the time, it’s no surprise that they make fun of FOX news. SNL was merciless against G.W. and did everything in their power to make fun of McCain and Palin. They made fun of Hilary but not Obama, and in the year since, Obama has gotten pretty much a free pass from them. “SNL, that spares no one”, give me a break.

The more a nation drifts from truth, the more the truth tellers will be hated!

Funny thing about propaganda, its easier for some to spot with hindsight.
FOX is owned by whom? Rupert Murdock.
Which side of the political fence you think he comes down on?
FOX “News” is a Republican propaganda generator and all but the expediently blind and those profiteering from the misery generated by the Neo Con (Con being the operative word) take over of the planet.
There WAS a war. And you missed it.
Don’t think so?
Go outside.
Unless you’re in the country, you’re on camera.

Kudos to SNL for keeping the time honored tradition of calling these jokers out alive.
On BOTH sides of the aisle.

Interesting that everybody wants to blame Bush. I think there is an animal called a lemming; it just follows the lead pack over the cliff.
All you “liberals” just follow the lead.Though I love SNL, it never creates anything that would challenge NBC or the others. So be happy and continue following the lead pack; over the cliff.
