“Saturday Night Live” Cast Member Will Forte Leaving The Show This Fall?

Aug 27, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The “Saturday Night Live” cast member Will Forte will be leaving the show this fall, the media reports. Will Forte recently starred in “MacGruber” and also finished his eighth and final season as a cast member on “Saturday Night Live”. The eighth season ended on May 15, 2010. However, NBC officials are yet to confirm the departure of Will Forte.
Will Forte joined the cast of “Saturday Night Live” in 2002 as a “featured player” and after 8 years of dedicated service it seems that the American actor and comedian now wants to give importance to other projects as well. The representative of Will Forte has confirmed the news to the media yesterday. The representative of “Saturday Night Live” cast member said that after eight great seasons, Will Forte has made the decision to move on from the show to pursue new opportunities in life. The representative of “Beerfest” star also added that Will Forte will be forever grateful to Lorne Michaels, the producer of the show and all of the incredible people he worked with over the years.
The media reports that Will Forte and NBC has parted ways amicably. However, the media still cannot specify which projects the star is presently considering. “Saturday Night Live” is a late night sketch show developed by Lorne Michaels and Dick Ebersol. The show is popular among the American audience as it often parodies contemporary Culture of the United States and politics. The NBC officials are yet to release a statement about the “MacGruber” star’s departure. A reputed media source reported that network has refused to comment on the replacement of Will Forte as well.
