Sarandon filming TV show on table tennis
June 29th, 2010 - 2:34 pm ICT by IANSLos Angeles, June 29 (IANS) American actress Susan Sarandon is all set to turn her passion for table tennis into a TV show.
The 63-year-old is making an episodic documentary about table tennis professionals that includes young players with dreams of making it to the Olympics, reports hollywood.com.
“We’re just in the early filming stages now. I’m not sure where we’re going to land in terms of our home because we want the tone of it (show) to be funny and quite different than anything else that anybody’s seen before,” said Sarandon.
The actress is also an investor in SPiN club in Manhattan that was launched in September last year and offers table tennis fans a place to hang out and perfect their skills.
