Sarah Palin to be a contributor for the Fox News channel

Sarah Palin New York City, Jan 11 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Former Alaska governor and 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin of Alaska “has signed on as a contributor to the Fox News Channel,” The New York Times reports. Newsday has confirmed this as well. There has been no confirmation of this news from Sarah Palin herself. She generally posts all her updates on her Facebook page but there has been no update from her as yet.

The New York Times says the Fox News Network has confirmed that former Alaska governor Sarah plain will become a regular contributor to the network in a multi-year deal. The Times Media Decoder’s Jim Rutenberg quotes a source familiar with the deal as saying the former Republican vice presidential candidate will not have her own regular program but will host an occasional series, much as Oliver North does now.

But the financial aspect of this deal was not disclosed. According to reports she will appear as a contributor and “host an occasional series that will run on the network from time to time.”
