Sarah Palin on Oprah Winfrey’s show

November 17th, 2009 - 8:15 pm ICT by Aishwarya Bhatt Tell a Friend -

Sarah Palin New York City, Nov 17 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Sarah Palin was the star guest on Oprah Winfrey’s talk show just a day before her book ‘Going Rogue’ launch, to speak about her upcoming, eagerly awaited and controversial book. She appeared on the show with her two daughters Piper and Willow, dressed nattily in a sharp powder blue suit. She was quickly slammed for her dressing sense as critics cried foul and counted the number of times she had already worn it to various events like ‘Oprah’ in Chicago, Walters in NYC and ABC News. According to the critics she should have waited a few weeks before re-cycling her suit.

She spoke about her upcoming book on the show, which AP has already got it fact-checked and it seems to have quiet a low-fact quotient too. She spoke how she was surprised by the criticism that came her way because she wasn’t allowed freedom to talk to the media by the McCain camp and how her stylists gave her wrong advice due to which she was always in the news for her supposedly power-dressing.

She also spoke about the fact that she was stunned when people took her Vice Presidential bid not that seriously. She seemed an eager beaver for the 2012 Presidential Elections. She gave diplomatic answers when asked about her plans to host a talk show that could be in direct competition to Oprah’s. It was neither a confirmatory answer nor a direct denial. Her son-in-law who has filed a case against her regarding his visitation rights was also the topic of gossip amongst them, as he has bared all for the Playgirl magazine and wants to bask in the limelight of Sarah Palin’s success and fame.
