Sarah McLachlan’s ‘One Dream’ chosen for the Vancouver Olympics

New York City, Jan 24 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Singer Sarah McLachlan is over the moon as her song ‘One Dream’ is being used in the campaign of the 2010 Winter Olympics. It is going to be a part of NBC’s marketing campaign centered on the Olympics. According to NBC, the song is going to be included “as a unique part of NBC’s marketing campaign”. This had been rumored for long, and now NBC has finally confirmed the news.

The video for the song ‘One Dream’ has been shot, and it will be shown on 24th Jan, when the US figure skating championships are being telecasted. Singer Sarah McLachlan record label Nettwerk is also very pleased with the development, and says that the song is written with the Olympic spirit in mind, and all the athletes of the world inspire it, as they try to achieve their precious Olympic dream.

In the summer of 2010, Sarah McLachlan will perform for the Lilith Fair concert festival and she might also release a new album soon. She debuted on the singing arena in 1988 with ‘Touch’ and since then, every album of hers has been quite a huge hit. All her albums have been certified as gold or platinum or multi-platinum.
