Washington, Dec 16 (ANI): ‘Sex and the City’ star Sarah Jessica Parker has said that she will continue her family tradition of getting a naked Christmas tree this year.

Talking at the New York City premiere of her new film ‘Did You Hear About the Morgans?’ the 44-year-old actress said revealed how she used to celebrate Christmas in childhood.

“When I grew up, we had a ‘naked tree’ on Christmas, meaning it was unadorned,” Us magazine quoted her as saying.

“On Christmas Eve, those of us who still believed in Santa Claus — and some of us who still do — would go to bed and when we woke up in the morning the tree was decorated. We were told Santa wrapped our presents and decorated our tree in his spare time and we believed it,” she added.

The actress’ childhood tradition is one she plans to keep in her own family, which includes husband, Matthew Broderick, and their son, James Wilkie, 7, and six-month-old twins Marion and Tabitha.

Talking about being a new mom of twins, born via a surrogate last June, she said: “That’s an impossible question to answer,” Parker admits. “You cannot put it into a little sound bite into a tiny tape recorder. It’s the most perfectly overwhelming experience. It’s a total blessing and we’re thrilled.” (ANI)
