Sarah Jessica Parker can’t work without lists
September 19th, 2011 - 2:45 am ICT by IANSLondon, Sep 19 (IANS) Actress Sarah Jessica Parker says she makes lists to keep herself organised.
“I don’t know how a person would function without a list. I have to keep lists in order to not be a huge failure, falling short constantly,” contactmusic.com quoted her as saying.
However, she says her husband Matthew Broderick has no need for anything similar because he is well taken care of.
“No, he doesn’t need to make a list. All his needs are met. He had back surgery recently. He can’t lift anybody or anything - allegedly. No, I’m just kidding. I heard it from the surgeon’s mouth - he isn’t allowed to lift anything over three pounds,” she said.
The 46-year-old actress says her spouse’s operation has been harder on their family than on himself.
“It was only a little bit harder on me in that he couldn’t hold our daughters and they’re at that wonderful clingy age right now, so there are times that his two hands came in handy and they haven’t lately,” she said.
“But it’s been all right. And every day they ask him, ‘Papa how’s your back? How’s your back?’ It’s very sweet,” she added.
