Sarah Harding was addicted to sleeping pills
January 7th, 2012 - 7:04 am ICT by IANSLondon, Jan 7 (IANS) Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding says she was addicted to powerful sleeping pills for four years.
The 30-year-old singer said she has been to “hell and back” with her alcoholism and dependence on prescription drug Zopiclone, which she started taking in 2006 after finding it difficult to sleep. It has taken her three weeks of intensive rehab to help break the habit.
“I’m just glad I survived. My drinking was out of control and I was addicted to sleeping pills (Zopiclone ). It was an awful combination,” contactmusic.com quoted Harding as saying.
