Sep 16, (THAINDIAN NEWS) There were a few surprises in store for the audience in the finale of ‘America’s Got Talent’. With the competition being neck to neck among the top 4, the audience and the judges were give the tough decision of making a choice amongst acts who were a powerhouse of talent in themselves. The four finalists were Prince Poppycock, Jackie Evancho, Michael Grimm and Fighting gravity. For the performance in the finale, the acts were asked to pick a personal ‘hero’ to perform with and Jackie Evancho made pone of the most talked about choices with the opera singing powerhouse Sarah Brightman. The ‘Phantom Of The Opera’ sang the song ‘A Time To Say Goodbye’ which in a cruel way became apt for Jackie Evancho as she was finally overtaken in the competition by the singer/musician from Mississippi, Michael Grimm for the title.

Before the on stage performance with Sarah Brightman, a video of the 10 year old opera sensation and the Broadway star was shown in a pre-taped video. Jackie Evancho appeared as if she had won what she came for by getting a chance to sing alongside her idol. Even during the performance, Jackie Evancho was seen awe-inspired by Sarah Brightman and yet managed to hold her own during the act.

The audience gave a standing ovation to the Jackie Evancho and Sarah Brightman duet. Sarah Brightman told show host Nick Cannon that Jackie Evancho will have a very special life because of her talent. Finally, it was Michael Grimm who walked away with the $ 1 Million and the show at Las Vegas.
