This replacement news was first broken by Deadline Hollywood, which had said that ‘As the World Turns’ was set to bid adieu to the TV screens from September 2010, after a splendid run of more than half a century (54 years, to be precise). Earlier the channel had also thought about replacing the legendary show with a cooking based game show with Emeril Lagasse, but later they settled for Sara’s talk show.
